We are back!

[English letter]

I don’t know how to express the mix of emotions I’m feeling as I write these lines. I’m moved, excited, happy, and at the same time… super ashamed. Ashamed because, let’s say it clearly: I abandoned my blog during my pregnancy (even if I stayed active on social media). I said I’d come back to share my pregnancy looks with you, but I started feeling uncomfortable in my body, extremely tired, and most importantly, I had begun co-supervising the renovations and decoration of our new home. I think I really underestimated everything I had on my plate at that moment.

So here I am. And as you can see, I’m not alone. Jade was born as expected in February 2019. She’s a very interesting little girl. I’m still sewing just as much, including for her (we always find time for things/people that are dear to us…) even if my sewing sessions are very segmented. For 2 years now my creative interests have expanded: I’m learning to decorate our home, I’m doing creative baking, and I’m sourcing second-hand clothing and furniture. Indeed, I’m increasingly aware of the impact of overconsumption on our environment, on people, and on a smaller scale: on our personal and family budget. I started sharing my new approach to these topics on Instagram, and from now on I’ll also talk about it here on this blog. Also in terms of news here: I’m launching my creative brand of textile applications with messages (labels) in a few weeks. I absolutely wanted to share this with you so that you don’t miss anything about this new adventure. In any case, I’m really happy to reconnect with you. And I promise we won’t part ways again! ❀

PS: Don’t hesitate to leave me a few lines about yourself in the comments, I’d be super happy to hear from you too.
