Ce top correspond plus ou moins, au mod\u00e8le #130 du Burda de 07\/2013.<\/p>\n

Comme vous pouvez le voir, je me suis bas\u00e9e sur ce patron pour r\u00e9aliser mon top #I believe I can fly. Cependant 3 changements apport\u00e9s: Rallongement des manches, modification du col, et… ajout de volants au niveau des \u00e9paules!!! Il est vrai que ces volants donnent un tout autre esprit \u00e0 ce v\u00eatement.<\/p>\n

Le choix du tissu:<\/strong> J’ai choisi de r\u00e9aliser mon haut avec un tissu de chez ‘Liberty London’. \u00a0En effet les tissus de la marque Liberty London sont des cotons assez l\u00e9gers et de superbe qualit\u00e9! La r\u00e9f\u00e9rence du tissu que j’ai choisi est \u00ab\u00a0Small Susanna C Tana Lawn<\/a><\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, l’un de leur classique. Vous pouvez voir l’ensemble des tissus sur le lien suivant:\u00a0http:\/\/www.liberty.co.uk\/fcp\/categorylist\/dept\/tana-lawn-classic#page=0<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>,\u00a0ou mieux encore aller chez Reine tissu (5 place St Pierre, 75018); il y a tout un \u00e9talage de liberty London au niveau du rez-de-chauss\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Pour la r\u00e9alisation de ce haut j’ai pris 1m70 de tissu.<\/p>\n

La r\u00e9alisation:<\/strong> A vrai dire, plut\u00f4t simple. J’ai sollicit\u00e9 une amie mod\u00e9liste, afin qu’elle puisse m’aider \u00e0 dessiner le patron pour les volants. C’\u00e9tait plut\u00f4t amusant de d\u00e9terminer les dimensions exactes \u00e0 donner aux volants, mais c’\u00e9tait encore plus amusant de les fixer! Cela dit, le prix du tissu n’\u00e9tant pas tr\u00e8s donn\u00e9, il fallait quand m\u00eame se mettre au s\u00e9rieux surtout au moment de la coupe.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9sultat:<\/strong> J’aime beaucoup! Les volants font vraiment la particularit\u00e9 de ce top, les couleurs et motifs aussi d’ailleurs! Cependant j’ai eu un peu de mal \u00e0 trouver une couleur de jupe, de pantalon ou de short qui irait avec… Cependant depuis quelques temps, je le porte avec une de mes jupes* de couleur verte olive et \u00e7a a l’air de faire l’affaire.<\/p>\n

This top is based on pattern #130 from the 07\/2013 Burda Magazine<\/p>\n

As you can see,\u00a0 I used this pattern for my \u201cI believe I can fly\u201d top.\u00a0However, I made 3 changes from the original pattern:\u00a0 I extended the sleeves, made the collar wider and\u2026 Added wings to the shoulders!!! The wings truly give a different style to this top.<\/p>\n

About the fabric:<\/strong> I chose to use a liberty London fabric for my \u201cI believe I can fly\u201d top. Liberty London fabrics are made of some kind of light superior quality cotton. The fabric I am using here is one of their classics, referenced as \u00a0Small Susanna C Tana Lawn<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0Liberty London fabrics are well known, you can find them around town (especially if you live in big cities) or order them online. If you live in Paris you might want to visit Reine tissu in the 18th<\/sup> district (5 place St Pierre, 75018) where they have a huge range of Liberty London fabrics on the ground floor.<\/p>\n

About the realization:<\/strong> pretty simple! I however asked a friend of mine who is a pattern maker to help me design the wings. It was kind of fun to try to determine the exact dimension to give to the wings, as once pleated it could be tricky. Anyway\u2026 it was not super relaxing especially as I had to be very serious in the cutting in order to avoid messing up with my expensive fabric (23 euros\u00a0 per meter).<\/p>\n

The result:<\/strong> I really like my top! The wings really make a difference, the colors and the design of the fabrics as well. However it was a little difficult for me to find a perfect matching color for a skirt, shorts or trousers. However, I have been lately wearing the top with one of my olive green skirts*, and it seems to be\u2026 OK!<\/p>\n
