Ce projet, est je pense le d\u00e9fi de l’ann\u00e9e. UN TAILLEUR!
\nEt pourtant lorsque RDC a\u00a0sorti sa collection AH 2015-2016 la veste\u00a0Fran\u00e7oise<\/a> ne me disait pas grand chose. C’est au fur et \u00e0 mesure du temps que j’ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 avoir un grand faible pour le style tailleur adopt\u00e9 notamment par Christine and the Queens. Port\u00e9 en style gar\u00e7onne pour un look assez smart ou en style d\u00e9contract\u00e9 avec une paire de Stan Smith. Toujours \u00a0avec un T-shirt en coton en dessous (pour \u00e9viter le c\u00f4t\u00e9 super Nani avec une chemise), ce look me plait\u00a0tant par sa simplicit\u00e9 que par le style qu’il apporte. Alors en bonne couturi\u00e8re amatrice il fallait maintenant CHERCHER UN PATRON! Mais pas n’importe lequel! Un Patron qui me fournirait tout pleins d’explications avec des dessins pour comprendre ce col. \u00a0Donc sans hesiter, je me suis tourn\u00e9e vers la veste Fran\u00e7oise de RDC.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir soigneusement choisi un tissu (ici un 100% laine qui s’apparente \u00e0 de la flanelle), j’ai pris tout mon temps pour r\u00e9aliser cet ensemble, en allant vraiment petit \u00e0 petit.<\/p>\n

Mes impressions et feedback…\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Un patron tr\u00e8s bien expliqu\u00e9 dans le livret, en\u00a0plus du\u00a0pas \u00e0 pas disponible en ligne.
\n– En \u00e9tant serr\u00e9e au niveau des \u00e9paules sur une des chemises Johanna que j’ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en T.36 (j’ai les \u00e9paules un peu larges) , Je n’ai pas h\u00e9sit\u00e9 \u00e0 couper ma veste en T.38.
\n– Pour avoir un r\u00e9sultat nickel chrome, repasser Apr\u00e8s CHAQUE COUTURE!
\n– La patte de boutonnage avant: j’ai lu sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux que les personnes ayant r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le mod\u00e8le ne pouvaient pas fermer la veste avec un double boutonnage comme dans le modele initial. Ceci ne me causait pas de probl\u00e8me car \u00e0 la base je voulais vraiment une veste d’homme. Donc pour une fois, pas de fantaisie!
\n– Je n’ai pas h\u00e9sit\u00e9 \u00e0 lire sur le net les techniques de pr\u00e9paration de tissu pour un tailleur et j’en ai appris des choses! Par exemple l’utilisation d’une cigarette pour la finition des manches.<\/p>\n

– Misez sur un tissu de bonne qualit\u00e9, car passer beaucoup de temps pour un r\u00e9sultat pas \u00e0 la hauteur de votre travail, ce n’est pas top.
\n– Faites aussi attention Au choix du thermocollant. Choisissez un qui soit adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 votre tissu. J’ai utilis\u00e9 celui-ci<\/a>\u00a0adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la couture de vestes, tailleurs et manteau. J’aime\u00a0beaucoup ce thermocollant.<\/p>\n

Pour le pantalon, j’ai simplement utilis\u00e9 un patron Burda (que je n’utiliserai plus jamais d’ailleurs!). Je l’ai coup\u00e9 un peu trop court au niveau des pieds et ait d\u00fb faire de nombreux ajustements.<\/p>\n

Voila pour ma veste Fran\u00e7oise. J’esp\u00e8re que ce patron ainsi que la r\u00e9alisation que j’en ai faite vous ont plus.<\/p>\n

When RDC edited this pattern for the AW 2015-2016 edition I was not that attracted to the Fran\u00e7oise pattern<\/a>. However as time went by I was getting more and more interested in this style that could be worn chic as well as casual chic. Pairing it with a pair of derbies for a smart look, and with a pair of Stan Smith for a chic street style. And as simple as this look promises to be, you can wear it with a simple Tshirt underneath.
\nSo as a sewer I just decided to find a pattern for this, but a pattern with a step by step explanation. Fran\u00e7oise Pattern was the one.
\nI found this Hermes fabric at sacr\u00e9es coupons in Paris, and just grabbed it because: the final results also depends on the quality of fabric that is used.<\/i><\/p>\n

– A Very well explained pattern. If you do not get it, follow the step by step pictures on the website.
\n– I felt a bit tight at my shoulders using a previous Shirt pattern with size 36 because i have wide shoulders, so I just went for size 38 and I’m glad I did (don’t want to feel tight in this after all this work!)
\n– For a perfect result iron at EVERY SINGLE STEP.
\n– The original pattern has two rows of boutons at the front. I have read many people complaining about the fact that they are not able to close the front with the two button rows. This was not that big of an issue for me as I initially did not plan to add this double row. I wanted a masculine style all together.
\n– I also took time to read on Internet for a few techniques of tailoring. Very interesting!
\n– Use an appropriate interfacing fabric. I used this one<\/a> suitable for jersey and wool fabrics.<\/p>\n

The pants pattern is A classic Burda pattern. Will not bebralking that much about it here as i have the impressions that there are a few mistakes on this Burda pattern.<\/i><\/p>\n
