At once vintage, useful, stylish, and increasingly rare to find, the bonnet is a practical gift for which you can use your fabric scraps. Let your imagination run wild by combining pretty patterned fabrics (such as Liberty) and matching them with your favorite ribbon colors. Do the same for the second identical piece which will serve as the lining.  <\/li><\/ol>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li>Pin the two pieces along the front, layering them right sides together. Sew 1 cm from the edges. Iron.  <\/li><li>Fold the lining (the second piece) inside the bonnet. The two pieces are now layered wrong sides together. Iron the fold formed on the right side.  <\/li><li>Baste the back parts of the bonnet and the lining together. Still on the back, iron a first fold of 0.5 cm. Then a second fold of 1.5 cm to form the ribbon casing. Sew 2 mm from this last fold.    <\/li><li>Using a safety pin, thread your ribbon through the casing.
