I bought this book in October 2011 specifically for the blazer pattern on the cover, even before I knew how to sew clothes (believe in your dreams!!!). This blazer is simple and trendy, with its round collar and no buttons or ties.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/lapetitemaisoncouture.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/10\/dressing-chic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-425\" src=\"http:\/\/lapetitemaisoncouture.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/10\/dressing-chic.jpg\" alt=\"Dressing Chic\" width=\"250\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lapetitemaisoncouture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/dressing-chic.jpg 250w, https:\/\/lapetitemaisoncouture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/dressing-chic-214x300.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fabric choice:<\/strong> One phrase: Wax is the new Max!! I think she wears this type of fabric very well. Since Wax is a light fabric, instead of reinforcing it with lining, I chose to use a slightly thicker lining than the fabric itself. Note that the fabric recommended in the book is wool, but hey&#8230; Let&#8217;s be crazy!!!    <\/p>\n<p><strong>The making:<\/strong> There were no major challenges. I used felt for the elbows, decorated with silver stitching. I was very motivated to make this blazer.  <\/p>\n<p>~~~~~~<\/p>\n<p><strong>The result:<\/strong> Pretty. There&#8217;s a different effect depending on whether it&#8217;s worn wrinkled or ironed. I&#8217;m currently using this pattern to make another blazer that&#8217;s both artistic and &#8220;sensible&#8221; for work. It will be made of wool and&#8230; LEATHER!!! The truth is that I bought this book only because of this blazer on the front page. At the time I bought it (October 2011), I did not know how to sew but I just believed in the THING! (Yes! do believe in your dreams!!!). This Blazer is simple and trendy, with its round collar, and the absence of buttons.    <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">[Image &#8216;Dressing Chic&#8217;]<\/p>\n<p><b>About the fabric:<\/b> One sentence: Wax is the new Max!! This type of fabric really suits her. As this fabric was a little light, instead of using interfacing to give some body to the fabric, I preferred to use a slightly heavier fabric than the main one. Please note that the type of fabric recommended for this blazer is wool, But heyy come on guys!!!\u2026 Let\u2019s be crazy!!!  <\/p>\n<p><strong>About the realization :<\/strong> There was no big challenge. I used felt for the elbow area, sewed it on using a silver colored thread.   &nbsp;I was super excited to sew this blazer.<\/p>\n<p>~~~~~~<\/p>\n<p><b>The result:<\/b> Beautiful. There is a different effect between wearing the blazer ironed or \u201ccrampled\u201d. &nbsp;  I am actually using this same pattern to make a more artistic blazer for work, made out of wool and\u2026LEATHER!!!
