Bambi forest Tshirt

I am introducing today what has become my favourite T-shirt. In fact I have been looking for a T-shirt pattern with raglan sleeves for a while now. So when I saw Jolies Bobine’s Bambi tee (made with the blue version of this fabric from fifi jolipois), I asked myself: “No way! Where did she find this pattern?”. Actually this is how I discovered that Papercut patterns had in their collection a Raglan T-shirt pattern. However too beautiful to be true, this pattern costs 25$.
Even though there must be an explanation to this price, I personally think that paying 25 box for a T-shirt pattern is quite pricey. But to be honest I sometimes like having these types of challenges as it pushes me to dig, nose around, imagine, and… just look for a way out!

My way out? Well, I found it with Hey June’s downloadable Lane raglan T shirt that I purchased for 6,53€ (8$).

As you can see, my version is a little different from the original pattern. Here are the modifications I brought:
– Size M instead of S (I did not want the Tshirt to be too close to my body)
– I shortened the sleeved
– And made the collar wider
For those of my ladies who have just started to learn sewing, THIS PATTERN IS JUST FOR YOU girls! In addition, this pattern includes 10 pages of fully illustrated sewing instructions, including hints and tips on how to sew with knit fabric.
I am totally in love with my top, and I am looking for beautiful jersey fabrics to sew more more Tshirts. By the way fifi jolipois, if happen to read this article: ” I was thinking of a dark blue fabric with fox or owl heads on it” :)))
